This page is intended to help students, researchers  and hopefully decision makers to get an introduction to the now substantial scientific literature related to gardens. So far we have three literature lists, which give access to published information on garden ecology and biodiversity, to pollinators, and to the role of gardens and other green space on human health and wellbeing.  You are welcome to download these lists for your own use, so they are not edit-protected.

 

For most people,  it would be advisable to start studying these topics through the relevant pages of this website, and in particular to read the pdf reviews provided for download throughout the website, because they cite a number  of the papers listed in context.

 

We know these lists are far from complete, and would be pleased to hear of additional papers, especially those written in languages other than English.
