Winter Webinar Evenings 2024
The final webinar will be on Wednesday 28th February, when pollinator ecologist Emilie Ellis will tell us about moths and other pollinators, particularly in the context of adding flower patches and bee hotels to urban allotments.

After the success of our first online event in January 2023, we are very pleased to announce that during February 2024 we will hold a series of three online webinars to welcome in the lengthening days.

The first seminar on 1st February was attended by over 220 seeing Adrian Thomas's excellent presentation on ‘How to make and maintain mini meadows’.

There are two more talks later this month, and there are still some places available.

On Tuesday 13th, Francesca Martelli, Ph.D researcher from the University of Northumbria will present her work on ‘Pollinators and people: social impacts on allotment and residential garden management and urban pollinator communities’ and Tomos Jones from North Wales Wildlife Trust  will tackle ‘Garden Escapers! How can gardeners stop the spread of invasive species?’
Pollinators and people; and Garden escapers!
